On February 20th, 2017, the Hugunin Staff created a black and women’s history month program that took place in the hugunin hall lounge in the basement. This program was created in the efforts to help further educate students on the importance of different groups of people’s involvement of America and the world. Most of these people weren’t fully recognized due to the color of their skin and gender. So it was very important to us to have pictures and summaries of these individuals with their help and the further creation of our society for people to know them. Without them, we wouldn’t have the future we have today.
