Recycling Bulletin Board

On October 29th, 2016, I made a bulletin board on recycling. It’s something very useful to know about dealing with our environment. Landfills are being piled up, certain places of the world are dealing with dirty ecosystems that are unfit for habitation of wildlife, and oceans are being polluted along with our ozone layer. They board is for understanding how to little by little help the environment by doing simple everyday tasks like recycling.

Halloween Door Decorations

On October 28th, 2016, I made candy corn door decorations. I also wrote the students name on the decoration and taped them to their door. I then went online and found different kinds of foods that different countries are known for. It was really fun and interesting to known the diversity of food. I would type the food and country it’s from and then i would write how the dish was made. It was really fun for me so i hope it’s even more interesting for them.

Halloween Trick or Treat

On October 28th, 2016 i had bags filled with candy and cookies in which my mother made for the residents. It’s a good feeling to be given a treat and to show the Halloween spirit! My mother loves making people feel good and does this once a month. Lots of people asked me to tell her thank you and that they were excited about the treats!

Homecoming Float

On Friday october 14th, 2016 we made a float for homecoming themed Time Travel. We worked hard to make a Dellorian vehicle for the whole day. We made a wooden frame and placed tarp on the frame and spray painted the float. We then decorated the exterior and placed accessories onto the car. It was a great experience for people to work together and to make a successful project.

Is was difficult and challenging, but we had fun for the most part! It was a joy playing basketball once again. A passion that we continually work on together and love.
